At present,China’s urbanization has entered into the middle and late stage of urbanization,which is characterized by rapid development and structural adjustment.Urbanization focus to urban renewal and reconstruction,the rational development of the new district and the rural community.At the same time,the 2015 central urban work conference proposed to protect the Chinese traditional culture,extend the historical context of the city and to protect the cultural heritage left by our predecessors.And historical city in the urban renewal or new zone development,how to embody the development characteristics of urban historical context,how to inherit the historical context of the city has become a problem to be solved.Although in recent years,Although the discussion of historical urban context has involved and has some examples in practice,it has not formed a relatively systematic theoretical framework and method.Especially in the current policies and related laws and regulations,Departments often go their own way,the current laws and regulations system lack of relationship between the protection planning involved.It is urgent to explore the theory,method and approach of the inheritance and development of the city itself.Qianxian,called city of Fengtian,enshrined in the qian tomb,located in Xianyang in Shanxi province.It is located in the Guanzhong plain,now It is a provincial historical and cultural city.Since the late Qing Dynasty,The streets and lanes and city texture of the old city have been followed up to this day.but along with the acceleration of urbanization,Qianxian is facing the crisis of gradual dissolution of city context.Select old city of Qianxian as the core,Take the city,the mausoleum and the peripheral environment as a whole urban area as the object of study.Taking the relationship between the city and the mausoleum and its context as the main line,construct city spatial context interpretation system from macro,meso and micro scale.And dividing urban construction into different historical periods,using historical data analysis,spatial correlation analysis and other methodsto to analyze the characteristics and evolution mechanism of Qianxian urban area spatial contex.It provides the theory and method for the inheritance of urban regional culture and the spirit of urban place.And it will provide some reference for the protection of the historical city and the renewal of the old city.
