Study On The Evolution Mechanism Of Urban Spatial Context In Ming City Of Xi'an

Urban context is the logical embodiment of urban construction,enhancing the integrity and consistency of the city.Urban context inherits the spirit and character of the city,and enhances people's sense of identity to the city.In the past thirty years,China's cities have experienced rapid modernization construction,and extensive and utilitarian modes of development have led to the loss of urban culture.As a famous ancient capital of China,Xi'an has a rich history and culture.However,there are also some problems such as the imbalance of urban spatial scale and the loss of traditional cultural atmosphere.This paper takes the Ming City area of Xi'an as the object of study,and takes the relationship between urban morphology and urban context as clues.After sorting out the general features of the urban spatial development in Ming Xi'an District in different historical periods,the paper extracts the elements of spatial context and the elements of spatial context.Explore the evolution process and characteristics,dominant factors and function mechanism of urban spatial context in different periods.Then constructs the cognition and the analysis method to the historical city spatial context,and lays the method foundation for the Xi'an Ming City Context inheritance strategy.Through the investigation of the Xi'an Ming City,will study the form is divided into four periods,respectively,the feudal traditional period(1840-1911 years),the modern transition period(1912-1952 years),the recovery period(1952-1980 years),since the reform and opening up(since 1980).The study found that in the context of city space unit presents scale becomes smaller,the scale tends to be balanced,the overall function of enrichment,characteristics of individual single function;elements of city space context have the characteristics of period and cluster in appearance and disappearance,stability of function and space in succession.Stage characteristics of the context of city space in Xi'an Ming City evolution can be found,the dynamic mechanism from the traditional feudal period of "political power" led to the new city planning period and the modern transformation of the "railway economy" to pull,the period of economic recovery plan system development,and finally to the game of conservation and renewal of reform and opening up for.It can be seen that the interaction between the political system and the economic system,the interaction of culture and the whole ideology of society,is the main motive mechanism of the evolution of urban spatial context.In summary,this paper from the microcosmic point of view,through the study of the context of city space in Xi'an Ming City,spatial context and evolution process of combing the Ming City within each period,summarizes the evolution mechanism,provide the basis for the protection of ancient history.
