To enhance the seismic performance of coupled wall structure,Concave Profiled Steel Sheet Built-in Fabricated Wide Coupling Beam Structure has been proposed to mitigate shear capacity insufficiency.The new fabricated structure that highlight the advantages of housing industrialization and the modernization of fabricated structure has increased the width of coupling beam to meet construction requirements.The built-in concave profiled steel sheet helps to strengthen the joint between shear wall and coupling beam.On the one hand,widen coupling beam could mitigate shear capacity and ductility insufficiency by increasing the shear area.On the other hand,it effectively reduces the formwork on site.In this paper,six coupled wall semi-structure specimens that different in manufacture and dimensions are constructed to discuss the seismic performance differentiae of cast-in coupling beam,fabricated coupling beam and Concave Profiled Steel Sheet Built-in Fabricated Wide Coupling Beam Structure,particularly refer to testing phenomenon,mechanics characteristic,stiffness,ductility and energy consumption.The test results show that:With same equivalent bending-resistant stiffness,the new structure has slashed the stiffness,ductility,bearing capacity and energy consumption compared with cast-in coupling beam.However,energy dissipation has increases radically as the load ascend.With same height,other than lower stiffness and bearing capacity,the new structure also shows tardy stiffness degradation and a transformation form diagonal-compression failure to bending failure which helps enhancing the bearing cyclic loading capacity and the energy consumption.By thickening the concave profiled steel sheet,the new structure could gain stiffness,ductility and bearing capacity.To adequately embody the characteristic of Concave Profiled Steel Sheet Built-in Fabricated Wide Coupling Beam Structure on seismic performance,it is essential to insure the length of anchorage zone.The test has convincingly proved that Concave Profiled Steel Sheet Built-in Fabricated Wide Coupling Beam Structure has favorable seismic performance to avoid brittle failure and to consume energy with certain bearing capacity.Lastly,design emphasis and advices that summarized through the test has been proposed to promote further research and application on Concave Profiled Steel Sheet Built-in Fabricated Wide Coupling Beam Structure.
