Because of the variety of modification agent for asphalt pavement,this paper will explore and discuss the influence of NFP on performance of asphalt and its mixture through testing researching and analyzing in NFP(New type of Fiber Particle),lignin Fiber,basalt Fiber,rubber powder,SBS modified asphalt and its mixture.In this paper carried out the indoors experiments,which test different dosage of NFP modified asphalt,lignin fiber,basalt fiber asphalt,asphalt rubber powder modified asphalt,SBS modified asphalt,70#asphalt matrix of conventional Performance,brinell viscosity and rheological properties of high temperature and microscopic features.All of this regular performance experiments manifest that the heat stability of NFP modified asphalt is better than 70#matrix asphalt and the temperature sensitivity of it is lower.The results of dynamic shear rheological show that NFP can improve the high temperature performance of asphalt.Compared with the modification of lignin fiber and basalt fiber,it have certain advantages of stability after 60 ?.The modification effect of NFP is higher than rubber powder and lower than the SBS modified asphalt.Through infrared spectroscopy,the vibration frequency of absorption peak of main functional group of NFP is obtained and by analyzing the increase of absorption peak may relate to the high elastomer of its component.Modified asphalt mixture with different dosage of NFP,lignin fiber asphalt mixture,basalt fiber asphalt mixture,rubber powder modified asphalt,SBS modified asphalt mixture and base asphalt mixture for 70#mixture ratio design,to get the optimum proportion,and through Hamburg rutting test,low-temperature bending test and immersion Marshall test and freeze-thaw splitting test to evaluate the NFP modification agent affect the performance of conventional asphalt mixture.In this paper eonduct mix design for NFP modified asphalt with different dosage,lignin fiber asphalt mixture,basalt fiber asphalt mixture,rubber powder modified asphalt,SBS modified asphalt mixture and 70#base asphalt mixture,whieh achieve the optimum proportion.Through Hamburg rutting experiment,low-temperature bending text,immersion Marshall text and freeze-thaw splitting text,the paper also evaluates the influence of NFP modification agent on regular performance of asphalt mixture.The study found that the addition of NFP modifier can significantly improve the high temperature stability and temperature sensitive of asphalt,which can also improve high temperature stability,low temperature resistance and water stability of asphalt mixture.
