Research On Landscape Planning And Design Of The Space Along Light Rail Transit In High-density City

The urban rail transit has become an important urban public transportation through the rapid development and provides the convenience to the citizens.Due to environmental,technical and economic reasons,the construction of light rail transit(LRT)occupies an important position in the medium and large cities.And compared with the subway traffic facilities,the light rail transit is mainly built in urban space with the elevated and ground forms,which is closely connected with urban space and forms urban light rail space.In those cities with high densities,the architectures,infrastructures and population are concentrated intensely.With the renovation and utilization of the LRT space landscape,we will get a balance between the limited land resources in high-density city and the requirement of urban public landscape from the citizens.This paper takes some high-density space along light rail transit system as study objects,such as Shanghai,Tokyo,Paris,etc.The paper use the method of “Literature research-Field research-Analysis-Planning layout”.This paper divides the study area and components;analyzes the constitutive elements of the space along the space along LRT in the high-density city;analyzes the public space composition of urban LRT,and divides the study area and components of light rail space.This paper also discusses the design strategies for Macau LRT with the landscape planning and design methodology of the space along LRT in high-density city.This paper is divided into six chapters.Research conceptions concerned are illustrated in Chapter I and Chapter?,introducing the definition,threshold standards,environmental characteristics and development trends of high-density cities and the space along LRT.The purpose is to clarify relevant research concepts and build a foundation for constructing the theoretical framework of this paper.Domestic and foreign models and cases of space along LRT are analyzed in Chapter.III.Based on that,this chapter has analyzed the distribution form,function composition,dynamic and static landscape characteristics and spatial pattern of LRT spaces in high-density city.Chapter VI has put forward landscape planning and design methodology of the spaces along LRT in high-density city.The design process is in linear mode,which is divided into the stages of before planning and design,planning and design,and after planning and design.The first two periods above play the directional role in the landscape design process and the third period implement the construction of landscape based on the results of the first two periods.Therefore,the paper involved in the process of planning and design stages of 1,2,which are the site analysis and conceptual planning and design.Chapter V expounds the practical research on the landscape planning and design of Macau LRT.Chapter VI is to discuss the main conclusions of the study and related issues based on the summary of the research.Furthermore,this chapter explore the universal of landscape planning and design in other cities besides Macau LRT,the spatial landscape design method on the bridge of space along LRT,etc.The main renovations is that analyzing the features of space along based on the definition of space along LRT in the high-density city.Also,this paper discusses the procedures and strategies for landscape planning and design of space along LRT in highdensity city.
