Li Zhuang Ancient Town Based On The Perspective Of Regional Culture In South Sichuan Research On The Planning And Design Of The Core Protected Area

As a subject with specific regional culture,ancient towns could show the natural geography,humanities and history of a certain region,and make itself an important component of historical and cultural heritage.Different regional culture reflects on the different city construction.While on the trend of tourism development on ancient towns,many places copy on exist forms and do protective developing,building a lot of ancient imitation constructions.The unique culture and environment of these towns are ignored and lost.It results into thousands of similar towns without characters and unique landscapes.To redesign and develop these historical and cultural towns,it is needed to learn from the experiences of protecting and developing other historical towns.Besides protect and rely on the unique landscape resources,we should integrate the ancient connotations and external forms as a whole to be extended and developed.From the culture of Southern Sichuan Region,we need to demonstrate the unique local history and culture with ancient towns.First,the thesis analyzes the research progress of regional culture in planning &design,of in Southern Sichuan,China,and the theories and research result of the regional culture of Lizhuang Town.Then,the paper summarizes the strategy and principle of protection and planning & design of ancient towns in southern Sichuan,puts forward six principles and three strategies including the principle of overall coordination.Finally,combined with the protection and planning & design projects of the core protection zone of Li Zhuang,which as a historical and cultural town of South Sichuan regional cultural characteristics and content,the author put the previous theory into practice,working on the building of the regional cultural landscape of ancient town,analyzing and summarizing,and put forward the development proposal of Li Zhuang ancient town core protection area.
