A Research On The Educational Function Of Campus Landscape Of 8 Higher Vocational Colleges In Guangdong

The campus landscape can represent the overall spirit and value orientation of a school,it is a good carrier of expression culture and the education resources with strong guiding function.Combined with the school motto spirit,reasonable layout education campus landscape,to train high quality in higher vocational college,vocational technical talents with distinct cultural characteristics have important meaning.This paper takes eight higher vocational colleges as research objects,which stationed in Guangdong province occupation technology education demonstration base of Qingyuan Polytechnic,Nanhua College of Industry and Commerce,Lingnan Institute of Technology,Guangdong Country Garden Polytechnic,Guangdong Communication Polytechnic,Guangdong Polytechnic of science and Trade,Guangdong Construction Polytechnic,Guangdong Engineering Polytechnic.The application questionnaire surve y method and the field investigation method,conducting the research on the educational function of campus landscape.Major research findings are as follows:(1)About the cognition and expression of the educational function of campus landscape in the 8 vocational colleges from the questionnaire survey.In this paper,the author has conducted a questionnaire survey on the educational function of campus landscape in the research objects,collected 2,400 valid data.According to the questionnaire survey,the educational function of campus landscape mainly includes cultural and professional education,moral latent education,aesthetic education and physical and mental health care,etc.There are lots of ways for campus educational function of campus landscape to express.It’s the easier way to understand and accept for express combining with itself landscape image,or through abstract landscape and "artistic conception".Seventy-nine percent of people generally agree that green effects are the most important thing on campus,61 percent favor history and culture,55 percent favor local traits.Campus landscape fusing together with art,literature,ecology,architecture are more likely to be accepted than relative factors,such as philosophy,politics,geography and religion.It is worth noting that 81 percent of people want the campus landscape to be integrated into the art factor.The construction of the campus landscape,should adhere to the people-oriented,pay attention to the space use main body behavior research,combining with the landscape environment of a guide to instill into the school motto spirit,give full play to the educational function of campus landscape.(2)About the evaluation of the educational function of campus landscape in the 8 vocational colleges from the questionnaire survey.The overall score of 8 vocational education landscape is low,educational value are ignored in landscape,and the present situation of campus landscape needs to be promoted.It’s necessary to attach importance to the human education value of landscape and educational function of campus landscape research.(3)About the field investigation on the educational function of campus landscape in the 8 vocational colleges.The style of each higher vocational school is basically unified in its own campus planning and layout,The functional zoning such as ordinary teaching area,practical teaching area and living entertainment area are very clear.Most colleges have many campuses,each campus are basically inter-district intercity,and all have training floor,however,in addition to Q ingyuan Polytechnic in practice teaching combining discipline characteristic with humanities sculpture,the remaining 7 in this aspect to strengthen vocational colleges;The campus architecture is based on the structure and color of the lingnan style.Campus communication space design,such as cultural square,sports venues,the courtyard space,small green shade building,etc.,create a relatively weak educational atmosphere,most colleges and univers ities association space mainly consider the function of traffic transportation,and ignore the communication space and campus culture with the combination of meticulously build.The eight higher vocational colleges attach great importance to the combinatio n of building and courtyard space,which is a feature of the campus landscape.There are many different forms of campus landscape,especially in the school and sculpture,but in the expression way,the whole is still relatively simple.Plants in campus are given priority to with lingnan plants,such as Moraceae,Palmae,Caesalpiniaceae,etc.Such as plant landscaping are mainly forest planting,garden green space,and groups form so green,which the group of delicate and C hambers plant space is a major characteristic.This article research results to guide the construction of higher vocational campus landscape,promote higher vocational education and the improvement of students’ quality and the construction of vocational and technical education demonstratio n base of Guangdong province after all have certain reference value.
