A Study On The Form Of Square Street Architecture Space In The Traditional Commerce And Trade Settlements In Western Yunnan

With the acceleration of urbanization,a large number of rural populations have gathered in cities.The traditional villages are faced with overall functional failure,manifested in the destruction of the natural ecological environment,the demise of the land industry economy,the collapse of social organizations,the transformation of cultural values and the material environment.The decline of the traditional social economy that has caused rural settlements to maintain their cycle of life cycles has been declining,and the new social economic system has not yet been properly constructed.The research on the value excavation of traditional rural settlements and the research on their protection and development strategies has become an extremely urgent issue in the development of China's urbanization.The spatial system of rural settlements was originally a complex and living organism.In order to reveal the inner vitality and spatial activation path of the spatial evolution of rural settlements,this paper selects the traditional commercial and commercial settlements in Yunnan's western Yunnan as research cases to explore the types and characteristics of the architectural forms of the Square Street buildings.The main contents of the study include:1.Exploring the development and evolution process of the traditional historical markets in Yunnan to reveal the historical reasons for the formation of traditional commercial settlements and the types of space and function.2.Select the typical traditional Square Street building space in the commercial settlements as the research object,and conduct a general discussion on the types and characteristics of its architectural shape of the Square Street in the west of Yunnan.3.Take the ancient town of Xizhou,ShaXi Town,Shuhe Town,and Dayan as examples to analyze the historical development,spatial elements,function types,and morphological characteristics of Square street so as to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the architectural shape of Square street.4.The conclusion summarizes the historical reasons for the formation of traditional bazaars and commercial settlements in Yunnan and the basic features of the architectural form of Square street in the western Yunnan.It discusses the future development and protection of Square street.The research significance of this paper lies in two aspects.On the one hand,it analyzes the development law of traditional trade bazaars and settlements so that it could reveal the basic features of the architectural form of Square street.Also,it has positive real-life effect on understanding and protecting unique features and folk cultural traditions of traditional bazaars and commercial settlements.On the other hand,in the field of architectural history research,the unique value of the most dynamic Square street architectural space is explored through the study of the interior space of bazaars and commercial settlements.Moreover,revealing the inherent driving forces of the traditional market space in future socio-economic activities.Therefore,this will provide basic research results for the establishment of traditional market space activation strategies and measures.
