People’s pursuit for a better life requires continuous improvement the comfort of the environment.Air-conditioning has become an essential home appliance,especially in the hot and humid regions of South China.According to statistics,the production of domestic air conditioning in 2015 reached 150 million in China,and the power consumption of home air conditioners is huge.As China’s summer high temperatures continue,air-conditioning installations have soared.Moreover,the air conditioner installation is too focused on the convenience,and the operating environment for outdoor machine worsened.In addition,the condensate of domestic air conditioners has not been used effectively.This paper presents a zero-energy recovery condensate cooling system cooling outdoor unit inlet.At the same time,an experimental system was established to conduct preliminary tests,and the critical temperature of the indoor and outdoor machines and the water consumption of the cooling system were tested and analyzed.In the hot and humid environment,the adoption of direct evaporative cooling device(wet curtain)for secondary utilization of condensate,and analyzing the evaporative cooling process of wet curtain and the influencing factors of the cooling effect in the experimental conditions.A cooling system was added to the original outdoor unit,and a comparative experiment was set up with and without condensation to cool the outdoor unit inlet air.The experimental data analysis found : When the atmospheric temperature exceeds 35°C,and the outdoor unit inlet air is cooled by condensed water,the indoor unit outlet temperature is lower by 0.4~0.8℃;the exhaust temperature of the outdoor unit decreases by 0.1~0.5°C,and the inlet air temperature decreases by 2°C;the power consumption was reduced by 30 W.Besides,the outdoor parameters of 5,6,9,and 10 months of the recent 10 years in experiment site were analyzed,and it is found the outdoor temperature and humidity of this period and the summer air-conditioning indoor parameters were similar,which was called the transitional climate period.Ventilation instead of air conditioning was more energy-efficient during this period.Finally,the combination of the cooling system during the high temperature period and the ventilation system during the transitional climate period constitutes a new air conditioning system.Then compared with the original air conditioner,the annual energy consumption change is compared,and the result shows that it is more energy-efficient.
