The current development of renewable energy is popular in the world,and the wind power market plays an important role.It is known that the UK plans to convert 30 per cent of its electricity to wind power by 2030,mainly offshore wind power.In recent years,the development and utilization of wind energy have been attached great importance in China.Onshore wind power is limited to terrain,and through the recent years of vigorous development has also become saturated,so the development of offshore wind power has become an inevitable trend.The offshore wind power installation and piling vessel is mainly composed of crane,hull,pile leg and pile shoe,pile driver and lifting system,and this vessel is mainly used for piling operation,installation of fan and pile,also can be used to transport auxiliary equipment,such as pile and pile hammer.The offshore wind power installation and piling vessel is integrated with the functions of floating crane,offshore operation platform and transport ship,piling machine and life supply ship,and the staff can work and live on the vessel for nearly a month.Also the offshore wind power installation and piling vessel equipped with advanced dynamic positioning system and automatic control system.Therefore,the research of offshore wind power installation and piling vessel is an important topic of offshore wind power construction.This paper mainly analyzes the development situation and research status of the offshore wind power installation and piling vessel,and introduces the advantages and disadvantages of various offshore wind power installation ships and its development trend in the future.In view of the offshore wind power installation piling vessel,this paper introduces the features of hull configuration,general arrangement and deck equipments in detail.Also the operation process of the wind power installation and piling vessel is introduced.Revolving crane is the main operating equipment of offshore wind power installation.The crane's lifting capacity big,high lift height,long lift arm,its weight is bigger,and the operating area's sea condition are complex,etc.And the crane seat set on a base on the main deck.Due to the particularity of wind power installation and piling vessel,hull structure nearby the crane seat should be set up a notch in order to piling.The strength of the crane seat and whole hull structure are very important in the complex sea condition,also it's directly related to whether the ship can operate safely.So put forward the subject of "the strength analysis of wind farm installation and piling vessel” is very necessary.According to the calculation of strength of crane base and hull support structure,and the finite element analysis of the whole ship.The structure of high stress region is reinforced,and the rich strength area is reduced,to make the arrangement of the ship's structure tends to be reasonable.The research results of this paper can be used to provide reference for the design and optimization of the structure of the wind farm installation and piling vessel.
