Fluorescent lamp is a very expensive lighting product in daily life,and the lamp head is an important part of it.At present the traditional manual assembly production mode has become a bottleneck to restrict the further development of small and medium-sized company.Therefore,in the face of the requirements of China’s manufacturing transformation and upgrading,in order to reduce costs and improve efficiency,it has necessary production practice and engineering application significance to research the automatic assembly of fluorescent tube cap assemblies.This paper is mainly aimed at the problems of low level of automation of assembly of fluorescent tube head components,low production efficiency,and poor product stability and consistency.At the same time,in response to "Made in China 2025",the information technology and manufacturing equipment were integrated,and the mechanical assembly and software parts of the system were designed to complete the development of the automated assembly system for fluorescent tube head assemblies.Next,through experimental research,the impact of the jaws on the cable offset was analyzed.Finally,the physical prototype of the system prototype was completed,and the system was automatically controlled and debugged by the PLC program.The main work of this paper is:(1)The research background and significance of the automatic assembly system of fluorescent lamp tube head are analyzed.And the relevant technologies at home and abroad are introduced in detail.Finally,the research content of this paper is proposed.(2)For the characteristics and performance requirements of the fluorescent lamp tube head,a suitable automatic assembly process was proposed to determine the assembly process and mechanism of the lamp.According to the functional requirements of different institutions,different mechanical models are designed and the 3D model design of the overall system was completed.(3)According to the mechanical design and assembly requirements of the system,it is determined that machine-electric-gas combination was used to complete the hardware and software part design of the system.The hardware selection and power distribution wiring are described in detail in the hardware section.In the software part,the system control process analysis and program design,and the touch screen interface design are completed.(4)Cable handling test device was built to simulate the cable handling.And the experiments show that the 10mm width jaws can be more conducive to reduce the lateral offset of the cable,and the slotted jaws can reduce the cable longitudinal offset.(5)Complete the construction and commissioning of the whole system prototype.The results of the prototype operation show that the assembly system’s working efficiency is 3.4 seconds each,and the success rate is higher than 90%.It also provides the basis for the next step of high-speed automated assembly.
