Research On The Street Interface Reform In Small Towns Under The Background Of New Urbanization

After decades of china reform and opening,in the process of rapid urbanization,which is driven by rapid economic development,the phenomenon of "quicker and less quality" has occurred in the construction of small cities and towns.The towns study and copy each other,the streets and architectural styles are nearly the same,which result in "the similarity of thousands towns" phenomenon.In this context,"the national new urbanization plan(2014-2020)" promulgated in March 2014,this plan showed the development path by local characteristics of China’s small towns.The street interface is the core of urban environmental landscape,the street interface reform is one of the most important contents of enhancing the appearance of the town and the quality of city life,as well as creating a unique style and charming cities and towns.In the background of the new urbanization,this study begins with the reform of the street interface,which focus on local characteristics of the small towns and the historical environment and humanistic environment.First of all,revealed the existence of common problems of the small town streets and their reconstruction through literature and case analysis.The street reform strategies and methods of typical cases were analyzed,and then the principles and ideas were put forward to adapt to the new urbanization requirements.Details in the street facade,plane and profile of streets,including building facade,advertising,building subsidiary,plants organization,pavement,landscape sketch and public service facilities and other components were thoroughly discussed,and specific design methods were proposed.Finally,taking the streets of Poxin Town,Tunchang County,Hainan Province as an example,the achievements are carried out in the whole process of street reform,in order to verify the feasibility and practicability of the design method and also provide cases for other studies.
