With the continuous development of the urbanization process,the drinking water safety in China has presented increasingly diversified problems,such as the water shortage caused by the growth of urban population,the change of urban industrial structure and the water pollution caused by industrial development.This paper according to the process over the past 15 years of urbanization development of jinan and drinking water security situation,from the Angle of guarantee the safety of drinking water and urban sustainable development,set up jinan urbanization process and the evaluation index system of the safety of drinking water coupling,coupling coordination degree model is built with analysis of the comprehensive development level,the respective system research from the aspect of system and indicators reveal the jinan coupling coordination relation between the urbanization and the safety of drinking water,to prevent drinking water safety problems appeared in the process of urbanization and the city's drinking water security premise for health and safety of urbanization development path to provide certain technical support.The main research contents and results are as follows.(1)Considering that all aspects of data were incomplete many years ago,the data related to the urbanization process and drinking water safety of jinan city from 2003 to 2017 were selected with relatively complete data preservation.In collecting from 2003 to 2017,jinan urbanization and drinking water safety related data and carries on the preliminary analysis,according to the urbanization development of norm,put forward the "S" shaped curve to jinan urbanization process according to how much proportion of urban population is divided into different stages are analyzed,and research of jinan city drinking water safety in the development of urbanization process under the different stages of development.Conclusions: 1)in terms of the urbanization process,from 2003 to 2008,during the deceleration stage in the middle and late stage of urbanization,the main characteristic of the urbanization development of jinan city is the rapid growth of urban population;From 2009 to 2017,the urbanization process of jinan city entered the later mature stage,at which time the urbanization development paid more attention to the qualitative improvement.2)in terms of drinking water safety,the main characteristics of the development of drinking water safety in jinan during the deceleration period of urbanization from 2003 to 2008 are the rapid improvement of water supply penetration rate and water quality monitoring index;During the mature stage of late urbanization from 2009 to 2017,the water supply industry in jinan has fully matured.At this time,the main characteristics are the deep treatment technology of water plants and the application of highquality pipes in the water supply pipe network,the improvement of emergency water supply capacity and the small increase of water price.3)in terms of the relationship between urbanization process and drinking water safety,according to the analysis of the development process of urbanization process and drinking water safety in jinan city,it is found that both of them developed steadily from 2003 to 2008 and were in a mature stage from 2009 to 2017.Therefore,there is a close relationship between urbanization process and drinking water safety.(2)According to the construction principle of evaluation index system,the selected indexes of urbanization process and drinking water safety system were determined by frequency analysis method and expert consultation method,the original data of indexes were processed by difference value method to unify their units,and the final weight of each index was determined by entropy method in objective analysis method.The evolution reasons of the urbanization process and drinking water safety system are analyzed.Conclusion: through the objective value assignment method of entropy method to calculate the urbanization process and the safety of drinking water system weight each factor layer and index layer,is the third industry share of GDP,urban residents per capita living area,the third industry employed population,the number of ten thousand people with a doctor,the investment in fixed assets and the proportion of urban population and so on six indicators in the weight value obtained in the system of urbanization accounted for 54.74%,is the main influence factor of urbanization system;Five indexes,including sewage treatment fee,emergency capacity,waterworks process,water quality compliance rate of centralized drinking water sources and designed domestic water supply,account for 59.52% of the weight value in the drinking water safety system,which is the main influencing factor of the drinking water safety system.(3)The comprehensive evaluation index of the two systems of urbanization and drinking water safety and each subsystem was obtained,and ORIGIN software was used to draw the map line,analyze their respective development and evolution process,and make the evaluation.Conclusions: 1)from 2003 to 2017,the comprehensive evaluation index of the urbanization process of jinan city increased from 0.03044 to 0.92421,with an average annual increase of 5.96%.The rate of increase is very rapid.Population,economy,space and society all show an upward trend,with an average annual growth of 1.61%,2.16%,1.21% and 0.91%,among which the economic urbanization growth is the most significant.2)from 2003 to 2017,the overall safety of drinking water in jinan has been significantly improved,especially from 2009 to 2012.The comprehensive evaluation index increased from 0.06116 in 2003 to 0.98665,with an average annual growth rate of 5.97%.Water quantity,water quality and water price are on the rise,with an average annual growth of 1.94%,2.07% and 2.16%,with the most significant increase in water price and water quality.(4)The coupling coordination degree model that can comprehensively analyze the effects of multiple factors is constructed,and the degree of coupling coordination is classified and graded.The coupling relationship between urbanization process and drinking water safety is studied and evaluated.Finally,some Suggestions are put forward for the coordinated development of urbanization process and drinking water safety in jinan.Conclusion: during the 15 years from 2003 to 2017,the correlation coefficient between urbanization and drinking water safety in jinan was R2=0.97823,and the overall coupling effect was good.From 2003 to 2005,China was in the development stage of maladjustment between urbanization and drinking water safety.From 2006 to 2009,the urbanization process and drinking water safety were in the transition stage from unbalanced development to coordinated development.From 2010 to 2017,the city is in the stage of coordinated development of urbanization and drinking water safety,and the coupling and coordinated development of urbanization and drinking water safety in jinan during this stage.(5)Some Suggestions are put forward to promote the coordinated and sustainable development of urbanization and drinking water safety in jinan.It mainly includes two aspects: scientifically promoting the urbanization development process of jinan city and improving the drinking water safety degree in the urbanization development process.
