Rising along with the aging society,China is building the world's largest medical rehabilitation system,instruments and rehabilitation is an important part of the system development,been paid great attention in the scientific research institution,and because of science and technology level and improve social economic level,this makes the rehabilitation appliance field step by step toward the development of intelligent,systematic process.Against Chinese rehabilitation devices in the field of the study found that medical rehabilitation equipment development relatively late in our country,the slower,global market share is small,the product of the crowd positioning fuzzy,lack of product design aesthetic feeling,colour is single,lack of different recovery stages walking rehabilitation instrument analysis under different use environment and the mental health of the elderly and the thoughts of consumer psychology,in the design of the lack of the correct theory and method of system as a support.The overseas research on rehabilitation apparatus is more systematic and diversified.The scientific research,production and sales of rehabilitation apparatus have already formed an industrial chain.With small dependence on the government and high global market share,it can obtain abundant benefits in market promotion and nurture scientific research.In view of the urgent demand of domestic medical rehabilitation market,this paper studies the design of pedestrian rehabilitation apparatus from the design process and design theory.Firstly,this paper conducts theoretical research on the Design for Six Sigma(DFSS)method from the aspects of concept,characteristics,process,tools and framework,and analyzes the feasibility of the six sigma design method in the field of rehabilitation apparatus.Secondly,by investigating the current situation of walking rehabilitation apparatus at home and abroad,the existing problems of walking rehabilitation apparatus in the market were found,and the exact requirements of walking rehabilitation apparatus were summarized by face-to-face interviews,questionnaires and other forms.Thirdly,it classifies the needs of the aged people through the collected customer information of the aged people,and use the KANO model to analyze and quantify the needs of the aged people.Then,from the perspective of needs,the author analyzed the different rehabilitation stages,different use environments,users' psychology and the gait of people of happy age.Finally;with Design for Six Sigma method as process guidance and combined with the research method of aesthetics and ergonomics in product design field,the modular design of function and appearance of walking rehabilitation appliance is emphasized.This paper aims to introduce the Design for Six Sigma(DFSS)method into the design of walking rehabilitation appliance.At the beginning of the design,the design objective is clarified,the verification process is simplified,and the product is optimized,so as to provide a scientific and systematic solution for such products and optimization.
