This paper carries out the research of a typical water supply pipeline network for marine ships by means of simulation calculation and onshore test.The purpose is to verify the accuracy of the simulation calculation by comparison of simulation results with the experimental results of onshore test,and to find the methods of reasonable configuration and design optimization of the pipeline network,in order to provide technical support for the initial design of a large-scale water supply system for large marine ships.This paper selects a regional pipeline network of large ship water supply system as the research object named as the typical water supply pipeline network,for which research we design and build an onshore experimental and simulation system for the typical pipeline network.It consists of 8 layers of pipeline branches arranged in the horizontal plane for simulation of 8 deck layers of a real large ship.We make use of 8 differential pressure relief valves to simulate the static pressure differences between the actual 8 deck layers and 8 layers of pipeline branches of the simulation system arranged in the horizontal plane.Thereby we reduce the space requirement for the test site on large scale,and greatly save the cost for construction of the typical water supply pipeline network for marine ships.This paper makes use of Matlab's powerful modeling and simulation and data processing functions to establish simulation models for different ways of pipeline network configurations,and to obtain simulation data.Secondly,this paper designs a centralized control system for the onshore experimental and simulation system for the typical pipeline network,which makes use of PLC and HMI to realize the control of working conditions conversion,and the simulation control of the resistance characteristics of the typical water supply pipeline network.This centralized control system can test,measure and record the pressure and flow of each water user point in the pipeline network under different ways of pipeline network configurations,in order to analyze the effects and influences of various water supply working conditions and various pipeline network configurations on the pressure and flow rate of the water user points by means of comparison.In addition,we carry out random test for recording of the pressure and flow changes under different water supply working conditions,and calculate the statistical distribution for analysis of the pressure and flow rate of the water user point in the pipeline network.Finally,the paper compares the simulation analysis results with the onshore test results,and verifies that the simulation results are basically consistent with the experimental results.Therefore,we can rely on and make judgment according to the simulation calculation results in the rational configuration and optimization design of pipeline networks in a complex water supply system for large marine ships.
