The scaling mechanism is a kind of expandable and foldable mechanism composed of a plurality of retracting units,which has a large scaling ratio and is widely used in many fields.In this paper,the geometric characteristics,motion characteristics,construction methods and driving methods of the straight-rod scissor unit,the angle-corner scissor unit,the curved rod scissor unit,the spur gear unit,the bevel gear unit and the corresponding scaling mechanism are studied,which can propose new scaling units and mechanisms,expand the application scenarios of the scaling mechanisms.Firstly,based on the planar scissor scaling unit and the spur gear scaling unit,by analyzing the structural characteristics and kinematic principle,the method of constructing different retracting mechanisms using different scaling units is summarized,and the closed chain scaling mechanism is proposed.The theoretical basis of the organization,the correctness of this construction method is verified by an example design.Secondly,a spatial scissor scaling mechanism is designed based on the improvement of the basic structure of the planar scissor scaling unit.A driving method that can control the scaling path under the premise of single-rod driving is proposed,and a high-altitude design is designed.Insulated string cleaning robot proves that these institutions have high practical value.Finally,a bevel gear scaling unit and the corresponding scaling mechanism are designed based on the improvement of the basic structure of the spur bevel scaling unit.The different configurations of the mechanism are listed,the configuration of the mechanism is analyzed,the key factors affecting the configuration is analyzed and the working space is established,while looking forward to the future direction of such institutions.In this paper,the spatial scissor scaling mechanism is applied to the design example of a small working space,and a new bevel gear scaling unit is proposed by the evolution law of the scaling unit,and the bevel gear scaling with different configurations is constructed.The application and research direction of institutional science to a certain extent is broadened.
