Gear mechanism is an important form of transmission in modern industry.The performance of gear transmission directly affects the operation effect and operating life of the equipment.Prior to the advent of TCA(Tooth Contact Analysis)technology,the detection of gear transmission performance was mainly carried out by applying red powder on the tooth surface and then looking at the contact impression.This method has a slow detection speed and complicated experimental conditions.Using the computer to calculate the gear parameters,drawing the boundary of the contact zone and the transmission error curve can simplify the experimental process and evaluate the gear transmission performance.The main work of this paper is to realize the simulation and analysis of gear meshing performance based on TCA technology.Different from the traditional analytical method,MATLAB is used to model the tooth surface discretization model,introduce the concept of difference surface,draw the contact trace and contact area of the ideal tooth surface,and realize the TCA analysis of the theoretical tooth surface.Based on the difference surface algorithm,the parameter variables of pressure angle and helix angle are introduced to analyze the influence of two design parameters on the contact position of the tooth surface,and the function of auxiliary gear parameter design is realized.The tooth surface model including the tooth profile tilt deviation,the spiral tilt deviation and the trimming gear is established,and the meshing analysis is carried out with the paired tooth surface theoretical model.The contact area and the transmission error curve of the deviation tooth surface are drawn,and the deviation tooth surface contact area is the same.The difference in the trend of the theoretical tooth surface contact area is analyzed,and the influence on the gear transmission can be analyzed to realize the TCA analysis of the shape modifying gear.Based on the CNC gear measurement center,the TCA algorithm based on themeasured tooth surface data is proposed.The actual tooth surface is analyzed for transmission performance,and the contact area boundary of the measured tooth surface is drawn to provide a reasonable technical solution for the transmission characteristic simulation of the measured gear.Through the research of this subject,TCA technology can be used to complete parameter optimization in the gear design stage,and predict the design of gear transmission characteristics.Combined with the gear measurement center,it can expand the evaluation ability of the instrument,and at the same time complete the static performance detection and dynamic performance evaluation of the gear,which has a wide range of engineering application prospects.
