With the continuous development of power grid in China,more and more services are carried on the power communication network.The communication network with wide-area security,stable and reliable structure,and real-time data transmission is the basis of realizing intelligent analysis and wide-area stability control,and ensure the basic power system security and stable operation.Communication network planning and optimization,as two important means to determine the reliability,stability and communication efficiency of the network structure,play different roles in different life cycle stages of the network.Most of the current research are from the relatively simple model for network planning or optimization,which cannot meet the actual needs of the network,in order to better design the network structure,it is of great significance to carry out structural planning and optimization of the power communication network supporting wide-area stability control services.Firstly,the optimization of single-chain structure of power communication network in region is studied.In view of the problem that the network structure is unstable due to the large number of single-chain structures in the communication network,the single-chain structure optimization scheme is proposed based on the preservation of the existing network structure.The first step of this research is to model the optimization problem,various factors to be considered in the network optimization process is analyzed,including network optimization economic cost,network ringing rate and structure entropy,etc.,then,based on the weighted sum of these three factors as the optimization goal,the ant colony algorithm with neighborhood search mechanism is designed to solve the problem.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed optimization method can effectively reduce the proportion of single-chain structure in the network and improve the structural stability of the network.Secondly,based on the optimization of the network structure in region,the research on the planning method of the cross-regional wide-area stability control communication network is carried out.Aiming at the problem that the current power optical transmission communication network supporting wide-area stability control services cannot meet the requirements of real-time and wide-area cross-area joint security and stability control,the scheme planning communication links between regions based on existing communication networks is proposed.The first step is to model the planning problem,focusing on the two major factors of network expansion cost and average communication delay between regions,what's more,the impact of site voltage level while planning is considered.Then,the weighted sum of the above two factors is taken as the optimization goal,and an improved genetic algorithm is designed to solve the structural optimization problem.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed method can give an effective planning scheme,which is better than other algorithms.In summary,the planning method proposed for communication network supporting wide-area stability control services designs different solutions for different problems in the network,and proposes effective solutions to reduce the number of single-chain structures in the network and solve the problem of cross-regional communication.It can effectively improve the reliability of the whole network and communication efficiency.
