After decades of large-scale traffic construction,the proportion of asphalt concrete pavement with its own advantages has gradually increased,especially the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement.Semi-rigid base asphalt pavement has many advantages,but it has the same fate as cracks.With the rapid development of our country's economy,many highways have been rebuilt and expanded,pavement overlay and so on.However,there are many diseases in the original asphalt pavement.Cracks are a common disease in the asphalt pavement of expressway.With the increasing traffic volume and load,cracks are becoming more and more serious.Although different types of crack treatment materials have been developed at home and abroad,they are often treated.Because of the poor durability and high failure rate,cracks will continue to develop in the later stage.In order to fundamentally solve the problem of rebound in the later stage of crack,referring to the standards of pavement crack treatment materials at home and abroad,this paper summarizes and analyses the development status of sealants at home and abroad,collects relevant mature normative documents,verifies through laboratory tests,and develops a new asphalt pavement crack treatment material PAC-01 combined with the reconstruction and extension of Expressway in Zhangzhou Section of Xia-Rong Expressway in Fujian Province.,used to deal with cracks in asphalt pavement,to solve the problem of crack treatment for construction units and maintenance units.In order to prevent cracks from occurring again in asphalt pavement,through the analysis of the mechanism of cracks on asphalt pavement,it is found that temperature and load are the main factors affecting cracks on asphalt pavement.Then,based on the analysis of relevant codes at home and abroad and the failure modes of common crack materials,the existing technical standards for crack treatment at home and abroad are summarized and analyzed.A preliminary evaluation index system for crack treatment materials is proposed.Taking the evaluation index system of crack treatment materials at home and abroad as the main reference index,the influencing factors were analyzed by orthogonal design method combined with range analysis and variance analysis.The optimum proportion of cementing materials for crack treatment materials,A3B2C1 and A3B1C3,was put forward.With the aid of two-factor analysis method,variance analysis and comprehensive scoring method were used to study the aggregates for crack treatment materials.Specification is 0-3 mm,aggregate content is 75%.In order to verify the performance of the mixture with the optimized binder and aggregate,considering the material performance and economic cost,the optimum proportion of crack treatment material is put forward.Based on the verification and summary of the later practical engineering,and combined with the climate conditions and construction requirements of Fujian Province,the technical evaluation standard of crack treatment material for asphalt pavement is put forward.Finally,from the aspects of material requirements,construction preparation,construction technology,construction quality management and acceptance,specific operation guidance for the construction of PAC-01,a newly developed high-performance crack treatment material,is put forward.The high performance crack treatment material PAC-01 developed in this paper has the characteristics of high flow,high temperature resistance,easy deformation and strong bonding.It is a new type of crack treatment material for asphalt pavement.It can fundamentally solve the possibility of further development on cracked asphalt pavement.It is the development direction of crack treatment for asphalt pavement in the future,and its application prospect is very broad.
