Transportation capacity has always been one of the key factors restricting the development of China’s domestic tourism-related industries. The degree of perfection of its own development is positively correlated with the prosperity of local tourism. The Lvliang area was formed in the middle and late stages of the Paleolithic. It is one of the earliest habitats of the Chinese ancestors. It has a splendid history and culture. The long history of the river has left a colorful cultural relics and historic sites,a splendid Yellow River culture and Countless names of benevolent people who have a history. This paper systematically and comprehensively sorts out the existing tourist attractions and transportation resources in Lvliang City.It is found that the number of tourists and the development of tourism revenue in Lvliang City have experienced explosive growth in recent years. However, existing road transport networks are difficult to match. Therefore, this paper proposes the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of tourism road traffic in Lvliang City through the analysis of the correlation between tourism economy and highway traffic in Lvliang City and the accessibility analysis of tourist attractions. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,it summarizes the domestic and international research status of tourism transportation development, and studies the basic theoretical knowledge of the basic theory and demand forecasting scheme of tourism transportation network, and builds the basic theoretical framework. On this basis, this paper expounds the current situation of tourism scenic spots and traffic resources in Lvliang City through data survey and literature analysis.Combined with the swot analysis method, the current situation of the development of tourist attractions and transportation resources in Lvliang City was qualitatively analyzed, and its advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges were described in detail.Secondly,This paper analyzes the methods and models of tourism highway traffic demand forecasting and distribution.Taking the transportation network and tourism economy as evaluation indicators and evaluation factors, the method of pearson correlation coefficient is used to calculate and analyze the correlation between road network development and tourism economy in Lvliang City.Through the survey and analysis of the Lvliang sourcemarket and the gray forecast GM(1,1)model,the number of passengers in Lvliang City in the next few years is predicted, and the existing road transport capacity of Lvliang City is evaluated. The study found that in recent years, the total mileage of roads in Lvliang City and the total volume of passenger transport have been positively correlated and have increased substantially. At the same time,Lvliang City’s highway system highways accounted for a relatively low proportion.Compared with the explosive growth rate of the number of tourists in the future, the road accessibility of Lvliang City is low, which is difficult to meet the needs of tourists. From the results of data analysis, although the passenger traffic volume of Lvliang City has a positive correlation with various indicators, the correlation is not significant. Finally,in view of the existing highway traffic problems and the accessibility of tourism resources, this paper proposes a coordinated development strategy based on road network construction, complete tourism facilities, improving tourist satisfaction, and improving the tourism industry chain. It is hoped that by improving the overall layout of the regional transportation network,it will promote the comprehensive development of the tourism and transportation network throughout the Lvliang area.
