With the development of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)in recent years,Bird-like Flapping Wing is a new type of aircraft,and it is gradually known by people all over the world.Domestic and foreign professors extremely concerned about the research of flapping-wing air vehicle,mainly become it has more remarkable advantage than rotary-wing and fixed-wing flights.At present,flapping-wing flight has a certain degree of awareness in the society.As for the popularization on military,it has a longer time to develop itself than the use of rotary-wing and fixed-wing flights.Exactly,the research of flapping-wing air vehicle is imperative.There is no doubt that flapping-wing flight,which has complex structures,can also be regarded as a flying robot.Therefore,it’s more difficult to design accurately than other ordinary aircrafts.According to the basis of the previous data,I selected the best structural scheme at first.Then in view of that,I carried out research contents relative to its own requirement.Firstly,I summarized and studied the flying modes of birds to recognize the differences between the flying modes of birds in nature and today’s aircrafts,as well the secrets of flexible flying of birds in nature.Secondly,I designed a space crank and rocker kind of driving mechanism to act as the main transmission.Last but not least,I used ADAMS to simulate the feasibility of transmission mechanism.After adding torsion mechanism.I also used ADAMS to observe the trajectory of wing movement,Which seemed like the writing of "8".Professors and experts also designed a foldable and deformable wing to suit the battlefield environment,which is easy to take with.As for the composition of the texture of wings,I used ADAMS to simulate a set of finite elements,and the deformation of the texture of wing under the best vein condition would be tested.A numerical study on aerodynamic performance of flapping wing is an essential part.Moreover,the aerodynamic theory of flapping flight is more special than the rotary-wing and fixed-wing flight,because it needs to flutter up and down.I used ICEM to created a simplified 3D aerodynamic model and imported into Fluent to simulate many groups.Concretely,With different frequencies,different amplitudes and different velocities of flow,I observed the variation of life coefficient,drag coefficient and torque,as well the curves of atmosphere and headwind.Finally,on the basis of theory,I created a 3D model of the whole machine and a physical prototype by Creo to help me select materials and machine parts.After I finished building the prototype,I tested this Bird-like flapping wing flight to check whether it has the capability to spy with a camera.In the end,the test-bed is designed to test the flight and debugging control.
