Today,energy issues,air pollution and global climate change are becoming a worldwide problem.As the number of cars increases,the resulting energy and environmental problems are amplified.Therefore,the development of electric vehicles is particularly critical.The rapid advancement of the global automotive electrification process makes electric vehicles inevitably one of the important members of the future transportation.One of the most important systems of pure electric vehicles is the motor drive system.The performance of electric vehicles is mainly determined by the motor drive system,and the motor and motor controller are the main components of the motor drive system which play Crucial role.The motor used in the motor drive system is a permanent magnet synchronous motor,which has the characteristics of simple structure,large power density,small volume,light weight,high efficiency and fast response..The motor controller also plays a key role in the motor drive system.The motor controller determines the performance of the electric vehicle.This paper first introduces the research background,significance and development trend of motor controllers.This paper mainly introduces a self-developed hardware circuit of the rated voltage 144 V pure electric motor inverter.The main chip adopts Infineon XMC4500,which is suitable for permanent magnet synchronous motor with rated voltage of 144 V.This paper mainly introduces the power drive and inverter circuit of the motor controller hardware circuit,the drive power,the power conversion circuit,the digital circuit of the resolver,the current sampling circuit,the over-current protection circuit and so on.After several rounds of debugging and testing,the controllers have met the requirements of each module,and also carried out the corresponding bench test,and used a domestic brand A00 electric vehicle as the test vehicle for loading test,the performance is better than its original controller.Excellent,the highest output power is42.5kW,the highest system efficiency is 93.6%,both have a relatively higher upgrade than the original controller,and the ride comfort is also improved compared with theoriginal.Finally,the paper summarizes the whole article and points out the shortcomings.Finally,the paper summarizes the whole article,pointing out the shortcomings and the need for improvement.
