Using information technology and network technology to change the traditional new product development and production mode of manufacturing industry have become an inevitable trend in the future development of the manufacturing industry,The application of PDM/CAPP(Product Date Management/Computer Aided Process Planning)system in product development and production will also become the norm in order to ensure the accuracy and consistency of product design,process,and production information,and to achieve the purpose of improving product quality and shortening product development cycle.Purpose,Implementation of our Country V Emission Code,higher design requirements have been put forward for engine pistons.The emission standard engine above National V poses greater challenges to the design guarantee ability,process control ability and processing efficiency of piston enterprises.At the same time,in recent years,many types,small batches,and complex Chengdugaodeng characteristics have emerged in automotive engine parts.For the discrete manufacturing enterprise of auto parts,product research and development efficiency,accuracy and consistency of product data and standardization are particularly important.For this reason,enterprises use information technology as an important means to win competition.In this paper,the PDM/CAPP system of high precision national V piston is deeply analyzed and studied.The main research contents include user requirements description of the V-piston PDM-CAPP system in high-precision countries,analysis and design of computer-assisted piston manufacturing processes,basic data management,system operation and system maintenance.Through the study of the subject,the article establishes the integrated management platform of product design and process data of high precision country V piston,and the platform was applied to Binzhou Bohai Piston Co.Ltd.,good consequence have been achieved.
