Research On The Application Of CAPP In Transmission Manufacturing Enterprise

The paper is combined with actual production practices of China National HeavyDuty Truck Datong Gear Company.To ensure the integration of system, the CAPP and PDM system is implementedat the same time in Datong Gear. As a member of manufacturing process department,in this paper, I will try to elaborate my points from the implementation of CAPP.In this dissertation, the author firstly analyses the risk of implementation thatboth CAPP itself and enterprise have the root causes of forming the risk ofimplementation and finally tries to clarify how to prevent the risks in the followingtext. The successful implementing of CAPP and PDM system comes from thecollective wisdom of domestic information software provider and manufacturingenterprises with the target of long-term interests and considering of basis of localconditions nationwide.After the multiple comparisons and examinations, KM soft was selected as theprovider of CAPP and PDM systems. The author set the phased target ofimplementation, as well as the system framework and composite modules.With the starting of implementation, team members firstly set a detailed demands planand completed the summary of technical documents and specifications, moreover,enlarged the manager of enterprise database with adding working places, sectioncodes, equipment, tools, fixtures, measuring tools, processes reaction plans, processescodes etc. into the database manager, meanwhile set up the scheme of formscompiling of TS16949as well as the scheme of how to connect with ERP.The hardship of project implementation includes the complexity of editions andmodels of technical documents, the differences of standards, mass work of data entryof process resource, lack of experiences of TS16949forms making, massivecommunications and coordination among multi sections and software providers whenconnecting with ERP.Contributes to the good preparation and adequate analysis of potential risk ofproject, the process of project implementation has been under control and reached the finishing tape as scheduled though the hardship and difficulties walks together always.The dissertation exhibits the outcomes of applying and summarizes the achievementsmade in this project as well as the further thought of future development.
