Exploration On The Design Of Quadrangle Courtyard Space Reconstruction

With the wide spread of "organic renewal theory" and "large fence navigator plan",many quadrangle courtyard houses in large fence area have been "rebuilt" and"transformed".With the influx of large numbers of alien population,the original residence mode of quadrangle courtyard has changed into that of several families,while the"courtyard" space of quadrangle dwellings has already evolved into a commodity.Driven by interests,people crowded into the courtyard space,resulting in the"tragedy of common land" of quadrangle dwellings.Under the limitation of modem urban living mode,people limit the transformation of living space to the framework of "several rooms,several halls and several bathrooms".Such a transformation mode meets people’s needs for modern living functions,but the "courtyard" culture which have kept for thousands of years has lost its vitality.In the process of quadrangle dwellings pilot construction,we need long-term and in-depth exploration upon the construction of modern quadrangle dwellings with traditional heritage.In the past two decades,research theories on the protection and renovation of traditional quadrangle courtyards have been deepened,but only few cases have been used to prove and discuss.Therefore,this article attempts to make analysis and summary of the quadrangle courtyards of large fence area cases,and make an analogy of Japanese collection of residential design technique,and direct at the current transformation status of NO.6 courtyard of Yaowu Hutong,trying to put forward the "collection yards" design concepts and methods,and hopefully to use smart space composition technique to solve the present indifferent courtyard situation.We expect to provide some useful references for the future "courtyard" reconstruction practice,and provide some support and basis for the "courtyard" reconstruction and its theoretical research,and enrich the related theories of "courtyard" reconstruction...
