Urban network is an emerging hot spot in geography research. The development of science and technology has promoted the birth of new modes of transportation and brought a series of effects to bring new topics to the study of urban networks. As the world’s longest high-speed rail, the largest scale of construction, and the most comprehensive high-speed rail technology, research on the characteristics of China’s high-speed rail network is of great significance for promoting urban high-speed rail construction and clarifying the development effect of high-speed rail.On the basis of combing the development history of the world and China’s high-speed rail network, taking the high-speed rail city in China as the research object, the high-speed rail network based on high-speed rail traffic data is constructed, and then the scale of China’s high-speed rail city, urban network structure and its regional organization. The model is discussed and the differences in regional organization patterns of different modes of transportation are compared and analyzed. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The development of high-speed rail in the world has experienced the process of originating from Japan, developing in Europe, and prospering in China;the development of China’s high-speed rail construction can be divided into four stages:the budding stage(1978-2002)、the initial stage(2003-2008).The twists and turns development stage(2009-2015)、the prosperity stage(2016-).(2)The high-speed railway has different impacts on different cities. The elevation of cities with high administrative levels is relatively large, and the number of cities with railway origins has increased; The change of urban types is divided into no-origin cities-train origin cities,no origin cities-high-speed rail origin cities,no origin cities-compound origin cities, train origin cities-high-speed rail origin cities, train origin city-compound origin city, train origin city-no origin city.(3)The high-speed rail city shows the typical structural characteristics of typical pyramid grade features and is obviously affected by the city administrative level;Urban ranks have significant imbalances and regional differences in spatial distribution, and are highly coupled with the strategic layout of national development and the distribution of national urban agglomerations.(4)The centrality of the urban node indicates that the important high-speed railchannel has a significant “corridor effect”.In general, the “triangular flag” spatial pattern consisting of Beijing-Guangzhou,Beijing-Shanghai and Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railways is presented, and the urban areas on both sides are irregularly decreasing. The intermediary center degree reflects that the random distribution of the central hub city can better play a connecting role;At the national level, urban nodes have formed the spatial group characteristics of “four zones and eight subgroups”,and the cohesive subgroups of the four major plates also exhibit different characteristics.(5)The overall network of the urban network is relatively loose. The internal links of the four major sectors are relatively close but the density between the two sections is relatively low.The overall transmission efficiency of the urban network needs to be improved. The network transmission in the northeast, east and central regions is better than the national network. However, the network transmission efficiency in the western region is obviously limited;the network agglomeration indicates that there is a small world effect between the high-speed rail city network cities, and the clustering effect is relatively obvious. The network aggregation of the four major sectors is superior to the national network, and the network integration in the Northeast The highest level of network;the high-level network reveals a closely related area, four horizontal and four vertical high-speed rail skeleton network, the low-level network basically identifies the high-speed rail network to the eight horizontal and eight vertical expansion of the situation and global spatial detail network characteristics.(6)The regional organization mode of the high-speed rail city network is divided into a point-axis beading mode,a dual-core grouping mode, and a polar-core mode. The development of the high railway network has a significant correlation with the complexity of the regional organization model. The western region with a relatively slow railway network tends to exhibit a polar nuclear model, while the high-speed railway network in the east and central regions is densely populated with a dual-core cluster and point-axis beading.Mode-based regional organization model; The regional organization patterns of different modes of transportation show significant differences in organizational types and coverage.
