Fiber reinforced emulsified asphalt stress absorbing layer,as the anti-reflective cracking methods,has been widely used for its good waterproof and anti-cracking etc.Fiber reinforced emulsified asphalt is a composite material.In addition to the properties of fiber and emulsified asphalt,the interface morphology is also a key factor in the performance of anti-reflective crack.At present,there are few studies onl bonding of composite materials,and less on fiber surface modification of fiber reinforced emulsified asphalt stress absorbing layer.By comparing existing studies,it is found that there are great differences in morphology and composites properties.Firstly,the solution of acid,alkali and coupling agent were used to modify the glass fiber and basalt fiber,and the morphology was observed by SEM.The structure of emulsified asphalt was characterized by FTIR,and analyzed the variety and quantity of oxygen functional groups.The results show that the surface roughness of the modified fibers increased,and the fibers treated with 1mol/L acid solution is more uniform and complete.The modified fiber added into emulsified asphalt did not produce new functional groups,but only physically bonded.The fiber treated with 1mol/L acid solution had good adsorption effect on emulsified asphalt,the peak area of saturated fraction increased by 11.5%,and the peak area of aromatic component decreased by 2%.In basalt fiber,the peak area of saturated asphalt increased by15%,the area of aromatic peak decreased by 5.6%,and the adsorption was obvious.Secondly,about the adhesion of modified fiber and emulsified asphalt.Measurement of contact angle of emulsified asphalt by lying drop method,and the contact angle of modified fiber was measured by slice method,and get the adhesion work.The results show that the adhesion work of basalt fiber to emulsified asphalt is 55.71mJ/m~2,glass fiber is 59.45mJ/m~2,and the adhesion work of modified glass fiber to emulsified asphalt is higher than that of basalt fiber.So,the adhesion effect of modified glass fiber to emulsified asphalt is better.At the same time,FTIR observed the adsorption of modified fiber on emulsified asphalt at the early,middle and late stages of demulsification,and fluorescence microscope observed the dispersion.The result reflects the three-stage infrared spectra of the modified glass fiber were the same,indicating that the emulsified asphalt was uniformly distributed on the fiber surface.The infrared spectra of the modified basalt fibers were similar to those of the later stage.The3420cm~-11 and 1604 cm~-11 peaks of the-OH group in the mid-stage spectra increased,indicating that the middle stage absorbed more water.The dispersion of modified fiber in emulsified asphalt is better,and there is no overlap agglomeration.Finally,because the materials were mostly used in preventive maintenance cover and old road overlay stress absorption leveling layer and adhesive layer,so by dynamic shear flow test and soften point test studied the high temperature Rheological properties of the composites.The modified fiber affected to the rheological parameters of composites,and the high temperature stability of the composites was analyzed with softening point test.The results show that the modified glass fiber etched with 1mol/L acid solution has good anti-deformation ability.Compared with the original emulsified asphalt,the complex modulus at 45?increases by74%,and the phase angle decreases by 3.7%.,and rutting factor increased by 75.5%.At the same time,the purpose of improving the high temperature stability of composite materials is achieved and the best effect.
