Urban Development And Layout Of Railway Facilities

With the rapid development of the economy,the domestic transportation system and environment have become intricate and the competition in the transportation market is extremely fierce.In order to better adapt and serve urban development and planning,it is an important issue to study how the existing railway lines are rationally arranged and transformed according to urban planning.Based on the summary of the development process of existing railway lines at home and abroad,as well as the analysis of China's existing railway lines status,urbanization development and the mutual influence between the two,this paper proposes how to combine the urban development and planning to rationally transform the existing railway lines.Taking Zunyi City as an example,the article points out that the adjustment of the existing railway line layout around the city must be based on urban development and planning.This paper discusses how to reasonably distribute the passenger and freight stations and technical operation stations around the city,how to integrate the passenger and freight businesses,and how to solve the problems of how to transform the existing railway lines according to the specific situation.Due to the wide range of railway hubs,the contents related to the layout of railway hubs,such as the locomotive depot,vehicle depot,passenger car servicing depot,logistical centre,are not included in this article.
