Study On The Reconstruction And Design Of The Ancient City Folk-custom Inn Under The Influence Of Regional Culture

With the development of the society and the improvement of the living standard,people are no longer satisfied appreciating scenery with their eyes,and are turning to experiencing folk custom inn with local characteristics.Therefore,a upsurge of transforming traditional houses into folk custom inn has been set off.The research object of this paper is a folk inn transformed from a traditional house in the ancient city of Guangfu.The first two chapters introduce the research background of this paper,the origin,development and concept of folk inn,and the possibility of transforming and reusing traditional folk dwellings into folk inn.The third chapter,through the investigation and analysis of some representative transformation cases,summarizes successful transformation strategy and experience.The fourth chapter through the aspects of the construction and the environment,On the construction level,I analyze the influence of the transformation process regarding construction level dimension,interface expression,function space,streamline,landscape and display.On the environment level,I discuss the skin texture,strengthen the contact with the surrounding,and retaining historical memory to conclude the design strategy in transforming the traditional dwellings into folk inn.Finally the fifth chapter applies the transformation strategy discussed to the practical design of Guangfu ancient city folk inn.This will provide guidance for future transformation of Guangfu area folk inn,protect the culture and heritage of the ancient city,and provide a possible path for its sustainable development.
