Research On Beijing Community Street Space Design Based On Residents’ Behavioral Needs

As a linear public space in the city,community street has multiple functions.It is an important space carrier for residents to travel and participate in community public life.In the process of urban development centering on economic construction,the planning of streets focuses on "car-based",ignores the important function of streets as public Spaces,and the streets are separated from community life,making the residents’ activities and street space gradually separate,and the current street environment is difficult to meet the public life requirements of residents.Therefore,it is an important content of modem community public space construction to deeply analyze the behavioral and psychological needs of community residents and create more humanized street space.This paper expounds the ways and types of residents’ behavioral activities in community street space,as well as the relationship between residents’ behavioral needs and community street space,and analyzes the influence of street space elements on residents’ behavioral needs.And carried on the thorough research to the Beijing moden community streets,using SD semantics and quantitative analysis methods and characteristics of community street space in Beijing,residents activity type and psychological evaluation,statistics,analysis of characteristics of street space relationship to residents’ activities,summed up the community street space of the existing problems of Beijing.And specific analysis of specific problems,respectively in security,comfort,fun and regional four aspects of the specific design strategy.lt provides theoretical basis and practical reference for the development of community street space in Beijing,and provides new ideas for the humanized design of community street space.
