Over the past twenty years,various types of garden show were held in China vigorously,that aims to create some unique scenery in the city to attract a large number of people,and promote urban development,fulfill the green ecological network.With the development of the times,the purpose and planning strategy of different garden shows are changing constantly,and the way of utilization will also be changed.For one garden show,with the development of the city,the urban planning,the construction of the surrounding and the crowd are also changing year by year.After many years,re-examine the change of social economy and natural environment,reflect on the existing way of after-use and make some adjustment simultaneously,that has certain guiding significance for the future development of recent garden show,and contributes to sustainable landscape planningThe paper untangles the history and characteristics of garden show at first,which turns to focus on the relationship between garden show and city development.It comes out with two modes of garden show planning through after-use study combined macroscopic planning level and microcosmic technology level,new development and present update.It summarizes different after-use ways meeting different city development modes.And it puts forward corresponding suggestion on subsequent target,reservation mode and transform subject It takes Xiamen garden show park's vitality islands as an example for the planning practice with planning strategies summing up from study above-mentioned.It focuses on the transformation and utilization of the garden and structure,request from users,waterscape features and Ecological protection.
