The winding steel filament reinforcement method is a new type of structural reinforcement method currently applied.Similar to concrete structures,the mechanical properties of concrete columns strengthened with wrapped steel fiber wires under axial loads are also worth studying.In order to study the effect of wire winding method and wire spacing on the bearing capacity and ductility of concrete rectangular cross-section columns under axial compression,six groups of specimens are drawn up in this experiment,which are as the follows;column A1 the un-strengthened concrete columns;column A2 the concrete column with un-strengthened steel plates;column B1 the spirally concrete columns strengthened with 20 mm steel fiber wire wound spacing;column B2 the spirally concrete column strengthened with 10 mm steel fiber wire wound spacing;column C1 the horizontally concrete columns strengthened with 10 mm steel fiber wire wound spacing;column C2 the horizontally concrete column strengthened with 5 mm steel fiber wire wound spacing.In this paper,axial compression test and axial compression strength calculation of six concrete rectangular columns are analyzed.Test results show that through the wound recovery of steel fiber concrete rectangular section columns were improved significantly in a certain extent,and the ultimate bearing capacity of the solid,and recycling of steel fiber winding concrete rectangular section columns for the lateral deformation of concrete constraints have greatly ascend,for the ductility of concrete and solid improvement,for the development of concrete surface crack had delayed effect.The experimental results show that the method of steel fiber winding reinforcement can improve the axial compression capacity of concrete rectangular column and the lateral restraint capacity of concrete column.Through the testanalysis,the smaller the distance of winding steel fiber,the larger the bearing capacity and ductility of concrete column.The bearing capacity and ductility of concrete rectangular columns strengthened by spiral winding are higher than those strengthened by horizontal winding under the same steel fiber winding spacing.Article on the basis of theoretical analysis,by reference to other lateral restraint the calculation formula of axial compression columns of concrete literature,it is concluded that the recovery of steel fibre concrete rectangular section bearing capacity calculation formula of axial compression column,and through a large number of calculations with the calculated results,and compared with the test results analysis,proved that the calculated value results agree well with the test value.
