As the infrastructure of power grid,power line runs in the natural environment for a long time.When abnormal faults occur,it will have a great impact on the power grid.Traditional power line monitoring mainly adopts manual inspection,but this method is not timely and accurate,so it is necessary to build a real-time and reliable power line monitoring network.Wireless sensor network(WSN)for power line monitoring is a wireless communication network formed by installing sensor nodes on power line and self-organizing between nodes.It sets sink nodes in substations to collect information transmitted by WSN,so as to achieve the purpose of real-time monitoring of power line.The long-distance transmission characteristics of power line make the sensor nodes distributed on them form a long-chain topology.The MAC address assignment protocol of long-chain WSN is one of the key contents in WSN for power line monitoring.Long MAC addresses consume longer communication time and lead to more energy consumption.To solve this problem,the paper applies the idea of clustering to WSN of power line monitoring,constructs a long chain cluster dynamic Address Allocation(LDAA),and combines with MAC address multiplexing technology to reduce the length of MAC address,so as to save energy.LDAA protocol divides long-chain WSN into clusters by means of segmentation,and uses MAC address multiplexing technology to assign two MAC addresses with different lengths to cluster head nodes and cluster member nodes.In order to satisfy the need for power line inspectors to keep abreast of the network status during the inspection process,power line monitoring WSN should support the mobile node's function of moving into and out of the network dynamically,and assign a conflict-free MAC address to the mobile node in the process of moving;secondly,address conflict problem caused by mobile node crossing cluster cells should be solved.In this paper,address update strategy based on residual energy ratio is used to solve address conflict problem.By calculating the residual energy ratio of each node,the node with the largest residual energy can be found to become a new cluster head node,and an unused address is randomly selected from the cluster head node address set to allocate to the cluster head node,and an unused address from the cluster node MAC address set is selected to allocate to the mobile node and other sensor nodes.Using OMNET++ network simulator,the simulation program is designed and the MAC address assignment protocol is simulated.The simulation results show that LDAA protocol can be applied to long chain topology better,and address update strategy based on residual energy ratio can realize the function of mobile nodes moving into and out of the network dynamically.
