In the framework of life cycle sustainability assessment(LCSA),environment,economy and society are considered in products’ LCSA.At present,most of the researches on product life cycle assessment focus on the dimensions of environmental and economic.But more and more enterprises and scholars tend to pay more attention to the impact of products on society.Social life cycle assessment(SLCA)involves five stakeholders of workers,consumers,local community,society and the value chain participants,which can not only be used to assess a certain product quantitatively or qualitatively assessment of,but also be applied to assessment several different products with similar functions.The assessment result often contributes to analysis of products’ advantages and disadvantages and finally guides decision makers make up the weakness and promote the strong points of products,which help to achieve better sustainable development.Refering to the existing framework of SLCA and research results of domestic and foreign scholars in recent years and considering development situation of China’s automobile industry,this paper establishes a social life cycle assessment index system,which involves 20 subcategories and 25 evaluation indicators.In addition to the original five stakeholders,the government is also included as the sixth stakeholder.It is a innovation point that big data of Internet text word-of-mouth of vehicles is applied in the vehicles’ SLCA with natural language processing technology,which is able to transform unstructured Internet big data of text into structured data,breaking through the traditional data acquisition methods such as questionnaire and enterprise survey.Compared with internal combustion engine vehicles,the advantages and disadvantages of battery electric vehicles are analyzed,which help to put forward some constructive suggestions and provide reference for the sustainable development of battery electric vehicles.
