The Design Of The Pet Exercise Area In The Community Park

In contemporary society,the rapid expansion of the number of domestic pets represented by pet dogs not only caused public safety and health problems,but also made the urban space become more and more crowded,what's more,the outdoor free space of domestic pets has also been greatly restricted,and the competition and conflict between people and animals,people and people for the right to use urban space has become increasingly intensified.Therefore,it has a certain practical significance to plan a special area for pet dogs in high-density urban space.The reasonable and effective planning and design has a positive role in alleviating the contradiction between human and dog and struggles for urban space.Start from the pet activity space,this article will explore the necessity of setting up pet activities in community parks from the three levels of demand groups,site needs and social needs through questionnaires,field interviews and other research methods.On the basis of checking & researching a large number of literatures and analyzing & summarizing the excellent cases,we try to explore the design principles,ideas and strategies for setting up pet activity venues in community parks in China's current environment.Finally,we will apply the design methods and strategies to the practical projects,and the shortcomings and the future prospect of this topic are summarized in the end of this paper.This study explores the necessity and design strategies for setting up pet activities venues in community parks,and hopes to provide guidance for the development of future community parks and the construction of special friendly open spaces.
