In recent years,the rapid increase in the number of car ownership in China has driven the rapid development of the auto parts industry.At the same time,with the diversified development of materials science and the advent of the personalization era,the traditional production process has been unable to meet the specific needs of customers.The application of reverse engineering technology and rapid manufacturing technology to the production and research and development of automotive parts can shorten the development cycle and improve production efficiency.It can also reduce costs,simplify the production process,and produce a car with better performance.Parts contribute to the development and advancement of the automotive industryThis subject mainly studies the intake manifold of the four-cylinder engine of the automobile,applies reverse engineering and rapid manufacturing technology,conducts in-depth analysis and research on the reverse design and rapid manufacturing process of the intake manifold,in order to find a fast and efficient Intake manifold design and manufacturing methods that meet the performance requirements.Through in-depth analysis and research on the acquisition method of point cloud data and the shape and structure of the intake manifold,the intake manifold castings are scanned by hand-held laser scanner and point cloud data are obtained;comparative analysis of different point cloud data Features,detailed introduction to the theoretical knowledge and methods of point cloud data preprocessing related technology,combined with the structural characteristics of the intake manifold and the theoretical knowledge of data reduction,noise point removal,etc.,using Geomagic Wrap software to complete the data preprocessing work;Reversed reconstruction of processed data using Geomagic Design X software;using Geomagic Control software to analyze the reconstructed model from 2D and 3D angles with reference to the original point cloud data model,and optimize the model based on the analysis report In-depth comparative analysis of the current application areas and advantages and disadvantages of several mainstream rapid manufacturing technologies,combined with the manufacturing process of the intake manifold,using SLS selective laser sintering technology to produce a prototype of the wax mold,as a lost foam using investment casting Technology to mold casting to obtain a metal intake manifold;The scanner scans the metal intake manifold and preprocesses the data,and then compares and analyzes the data based on the reconstructed 3D model data to obtain the final error result and verify whether the intake manifold manufacturing requirements and use are met.performance.
