With the rapid advancement of urbanization,urban construction is rapidly advancing,and the city is also facing the problem of internal space urgently needing to be renewed and transformed.The proposal of urban repair provides a policy background for enhancing the vitality of the old city and strengthening the attractiveness of the characteristic space.The Water Street District of Jixian County is a region with good natural scenery,most hydrophilicity and most development value in the county.Due to historical reasons and natural geomorphology,the development and construction is late,and the value of the waterfront space is excavated.Sexual development and construction methods have made the interior of the waterfront district chaotic,new and old buildings are worn,and the quality of the waterfront district and the comfort of residents have been seriously reduced.This study takes the space of Binshui Street in Jixian County of Mianyang City as the research object,and based on the spatial composition of the waterfront district,combined with the characteristics of the current situation,starting from the people's understanding of the spatial elements,the spatial analysis of the current situation research and spatial composition data.The software Depthmap extracts and calculates the spatial topological relationship axis network of the waterfront block,and analyzes the relationship between the waterfront block and the old city center area,the internal spatial organization characteristics of the waterfront block,and the space space intention perception in the space,combined with the relevant data analysis results of gis.Questionnaire analysis and theoretical methods of urban design propose an update plan and propose an overall optimization strategy.The subject research of this study is divided into the following sections:summarizes the current situation of Wucheng District and Binshui District,and summarizes the internal laws and influencing factors of spatial formation through the study of its historical evolution.The current situation and development intensity of the waterfront street area will be sorted out,and the characteristics of the land space.based on the results of the previous two parts of the analysis,proposes a specific optimization plan.First,strengthen the cross-axis of the block,break through the waterfront block and strengthen the internal connectivity of the block to the accessibility and connectivity of the waterfront area of the block and the core area of the old town and the inner space of the
