Horizontal compressors are widely used in buses and rail transit.With the rapid growth of electric bus and subway market in China,the optimistic development prospect of horizontal compressors is highlighted.However,up to now,most horizontal compressors on the market only with cooling application as the same as traditional fuel engine.The heating of air-conditioning system is basically realized by electric heating wire in low ambient temperature application.The COP value is less than 1 in this case.Therefore,the development of compressor that could cover cooling and heating application is imminent.The research on the working principle and structure of scroll compressor,the structure design of double-stage oil pump system,the experimental verification of lubrication system and the wear analysis of swing rotor are systematically studied.The verification jobs and the phased achievements are as follows:1.The working principle and structure of scroll compressor have been studied.It is found that volumetric oil supply is a more reliable way of oil supply in fi equency conversion applications.2.The structure design of double-stage oil pump system of horizontal variable speed scroll compressor has been studied.The results show that the two-stage oil pump can effectively reduce the oil temperature and improve the lubrication system,which provides a solution for the scroll compressor to realize the heating function compared with the conventional differential pressure oil supply mode.During variable speed application,the ratio of oil supply to the demand of bearing system should be more than 1.15,and the diameter of oil inlet of oil supply rotor can't be less than 2.0 mm,and the diameter preferred more than 4.0 mm.3.The experimental verification of lubrication system has been studied.The research shows that the double-stage oil pump system makes the compressor have excellent oil storage capacity,and the oil sump of the compressor could always maintain half or even full of oil in the whole envelope range;the oil circulation ratio of the system between 0.1%and 3.0%should be one ideal range,which could balance lubrication and energy efficiency,the reliability of horizontal compressor with two-stage oil pump system would be robust even in variable speed application.4.The wear failure mode of swing rotor has been studied.The analysis shows that the recommended rotor chamfer angle should be less than 90°,which is helpful to the stability of the rotor and good sealing performance;the maximum contact stress of the rotor inner diameter around 5 to 6 times of the rotor outer diameter through finite element analysis;the wear resistance of aluminum-based materials can be effectively improved by anodizing process.A new generation horizontal variable speed compressor with two-stage oil pump system has been successfully developed.The working principle,structural design requirements,lubrication status and wear mechanism have been revealed.The compressor has achieved stable rotor oil supply capacity,excellent compressor oil storage capacity,ideal system oil circulation rate and energy efficiency,and strong reliability.The aim of the present work is to response government policy(energy saving and reduction),and provide one solution to cover cooling and heating application in the electric bus and subway markets.The compressor has responded to the national.The call for platoon provides a solution for the development of new horizontal variable frequency compressors for both refrigeration and heating applications in...
