Interior Space Design Of University Libraries Under The Background Of Informatization

As the heart of the university,the architectural design and development pattern of the university library is deeply influenced by the times.Nowadays,information technology is the mainstream,so the development of the library is closely related with the informatization background.Under the information background,the university library is changing from the traditional library to the multi-functional and compound library.In this process,the extensive application of information technology has brought a series of changes into the development of the library,such as the role of the library in the readers’ life has changed,and the functions of the library continue to expand.The interior space of the library is the important space to the readers in the library activity.The design of the interior space will directly affect the quality of readers’ reading and communication.The readers always not only read the literature in the reading room,but also want to search for the information they want with the fastest speed and participate leisure activities in the public communication space and exchange seminars.The diversification of the readers’ requires put forward the new requirements to the inner space design of the university library,so the university library interior space design needs to make the corresponding adjustment to fulfill the new request under the information background.This paper explores how to improve the internal space design of the library by combining with the information background.The library should not only grasp the reader’s needs emotionally,but also try to create artistic and humanistic library atmosphere integrated with characteristics of the times,in order to design the reading environment in line with the characteristics of the times and the readers’ demand.Based on the development history of university library,the paper analyzes the composition and design content of the internal space of university library,and discusses the new trend,new function positioning and new development requirements of the library brought by the informatization through combining with the change of interior space design under the background of informatization.At last,it puts forwards some views and makes a prospect on the design of the university library internal space under the background of information technology.
