Research On Interior Space Design Of University Library Based On Environmental Psychology

Under the background of knowledge economy,university libraries have always been an important part of campus culture,playing the role of collaborative education.Along with the vigorous development of University Libraries in China,the spatial functions of libraries are gradually moving towards integration,and the connotation is gradually extended.Under the impact of informationization and intellectualization,the traditional functions of libraries have been unable to meet the development needs of colleges and universities,and the static knowledge service of traditional libraries can not meet the diversified needs of the main body of Contemporary Colleges and universities for libraries.With the emergence of new ideas and technologies,traditional libraries urgently need a modern design or space transformation to better serve the main body of the campus.At the beginning of the library design,too little consideration was given to the changes of the library's development form,which led to many factors affecting the space development of University Libraries at present,such as the lack of functions,the single space form and the incompatibility between human and environment.At present,the space value of university library needs to be re-recognized under the background of information society.Based on the different psychological needs,behavior habits and aesthetic promotion of the times of University Library Service objects,this paper discusses what kind of library space environment can meet the psychological needs of users from the perspective of psychology.Environmental psychology is a subject that studies how people are affected by the environment and how people are affected by the environment.This paper chooses the indoor space of contemporary university libraries as the research object from the level of environmental psychology.The research process is always centered on the teachers and students of universities.According to the theoretical research,the psychological characteristics and behavioral responses of the users of university libraries are qualitatively analyzed.By means of literature review,investigation and study,and drawing lessons from domestic experience,this paper summarizes the existing problems of the indoor space environment in University libraries,and analyses the importance of library space experience with a case study.Based on the theories and methods of architecture,ergonomics and experiential psychology,this paper systematically analyses the interior space design of Libraries in view of the psychological needs of the users of Universitylibraries.This paper contains five parts.The first chapter is the introduction part.Firstly,based on the research background,the topic is introduced.On the basis of systematically analyzing the research status of environmental psychology and libraries at home and abroad,the research theory and object are clarified,and the related concepts are defined.Finally,the purpose,significance,ideas and methods of this study and innovative points are introduced.The second chapter introduces the theoretical knowledge most in line with the research of library interior space design in environmental psychology,explains the applicability and importance of environmental psychology intervention in library interior space,and provides theoretical support for the research process of this paper.Chapter three summarizes the development of library space and summarizes the current situation of University libraries.The fourth chapter is based on environmental psychology,analyzing the psychological characteristics of college students and the psychological behavior and activities of the main body of the campus when they are in the library.This paper comprehensively explores the diversified needs of the main body of the University library,summarizes the relevant environmental factors affecting people's psychological behavior in the indoor space environment of the library,and on this basis summarizes the design principles of environmental psychology intervention in the experiential space of the University library,and finally makes corresponding reflections with actual cases.The fifth chapter is about the exploration and practice of library interior space design under the guidance of environmental psychology theory.From the theoretical perspective of environmental psychology,this paper discusses the influence of theoretical guidance from three aspects:environmental perception,environmental cognition and spatial behavior,and puts forward some methods suitable for the design of University Library Interior space,and applies these methods to practice.Through the above research,this paper takes the interior space design of Contemporary University Library as the main research content,and tries to summarize the space design principles to meet the psychological needs of University Library users.The purpose is to better embody the humanistic care of people-oriented in the design practice and improve the space utilization efficiency of the library through the design Research Based on the theory of environmental psychology.It can provide reference for the design of library interior space in the future.
