In the field of robot application,precise motion of robot joints must rely on precise and stable transmission and deceleration device,so precise transmission and deceleration device has become one of the key technologies in the field of robot research.Modern transmission device requires precision and stability while ensuring its high load capacity,so the project team chose to study the roller enveloping hourglass worm transmission as a new transmission mode.Its worm gear tooth uses the roller which can rotate,in the transmission process movement condition is very complex,belongs to the multi-body kinematics question.As a new transmission mode,there is no ready-made design method to analyze and test the transmission performance of the worm pair.In view of the above problems,this paper makes the following research:Based on the theory of space meshing and differential geometry,the mathematical model of roller enveloping hourglass worm drive is established.According to the research on the influence of mechanical design manual and geometric parameters on the meshing performance of roller enveloping ring surface worm transmission,a set of worm pairs was designed and the establishment of its three-dimensional model was completed,which laid a foundation for the subsequent analysis and research.The multi-body dynamics simulation model of the worm pair is established and solved by virtual prototyping technology.The motion state changes of worm,worm gear and roller under full load are analyzed and studied.The load distribution among the teeth of the worm pair under different loads is studied,and its variation rule is analyzed,which provides the basis for the study of its carrying capacity.Hertz formula is used to analyze the contact strength of the worm pair,near to the worm gear roller tooth root bending stress calculation of numerical analysis and based on the above method to design theory of the worm pair of intensity,this paper through the finite element analysis simulation of worm pair in the process of driving force,and the results of numerical analysis,provides direction for the optimization of worm pair.A prototype of roller enveloping hourglass worm was designed,manufactured and assembled.Test platform is established,the three-dimensional model,completed the test platform of real structures,and complete the test prototype of no-load test and load performance test,mainly tested under different load in different source motor speed,transmission shaft bearing test prototype the temperature changes,noise and transmission efficiency,verify its feasibility for later at the same time provide experimental support for the optimization design of the reducer.
