Tied arch bridges have been widely used due to their beautiful appearance and good stress characteristics.However,with the increasing diversity and complexity of the structure in the tied arch bridge,the traditional two-dimensional design has become more and more difficult to meet the needs of current bridge design.The rise and development of BIM technology provides a solution to the problems in the design and construction of tied arch bridges.Based on the analysis of the characteristics and development of the tied arch bridge,this paper discusses the application mode of BIM technology in bridge design and construction.Taking an under-support tied arch bridge as the engineering background,based on the parameterized information model of the bridge,the application of BIM technology in the design and construction of the tied arch bridge are discussesed.At the same time,the data exchange between the BIM model and the structural analysis software is discussed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the composition and characteristics of the upper and lower structures of the bridge,the three parts of the IFD coding rules for bridge engineering components,bridge engineering projects and bridge engineering products are discussed,and the coding of bridge foundation members,foundation projects and steel bars is expanded.The extended IFD encoding information is associated with the model through related functions in the Revit software to verify the correctness and reliability of the IFD encoding in the BIM software.(2)Through the analysis of the structure of the tied arch bridge,the parameterization of the various component models of the bridge is realized by the combination of geometric positional constraints and dimensional parameters,and the overall model of the bridge is established based on this.(3)Using the established BIM model to explore the application of BIM technology in the design stage of the underlying tied arch bridge.Collision inspection,engineering quantity statistics,2D plotting and visual rendering of the bridge structure model are realized.(4)Using the established BIM model to explore the application of BIM technology in the construction stage of the under-supported tied arch bridge,and realize the dynamic simulation of the bridge construction project.By correlating the BIM model with the construction progress,it is possible to realize the management of the bridge construction schedule,and to optimize the construction scheme and control the construction progress to have certain practical significance.(5)Using the BIM model to quickly establish the Midas Civil finite element model by extracting key sections,and analyzing the displacement of the beam at each construction stage;At the same time,taking the arch model as an example,the data exchange between the BIM model and the ANSYS structural finite element analysis software is realized by the intermediate format Parasolid.
