In recent years,pulsed power supplies have been applied to specific requirements due to their high power density and high density characteristics.With the deepening of the research,the fusion device puts forward the requirement of long pulse power supply for the pulse power supply.Based on the drawbacks of the traditional open-loop control scheme,this paper proposes a new control scheme for the control of the ZMF-500-50 DC pulse generator set.This paper introduces the development history,operation principle and operation characteristics of DC generators.Based on the mathematical model,the open-loop excitation regulation of the system is analyzed,considering its complexity and the extraction of the circulation problem.Next,the control scheme of the excitation power supply—the closed-loop negative feedback control scheme of the armature current is proposed.The feasibility of the closed-loop control scheme and its suppression effect on the circulation are theoretically derived.The main circuit topology of the excitation power supply development scheme,Multiplier unipolar carrier inverse modulation strategy,and the determination of the switching frequency are briefly introduced.Then,based on the actual situation of the project,the DC side capacitor voltage pumping problem is proposed.Finally,a brief introduction to the design of the hardware and software related to the excitation power supply is given.In order to verify the feasibility of the above excitation power development scheme,the simulation system was first built in the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment,and the effects of the excitation power scheme on dynamic performance and steady current accuracy were simulated.Then according to the actual situation,the excitation current is used as the feedback variable to test,which proves that the natural freewheeling scheme can effectively reduce the pumping rise of the capacitor voltage.Finally,on the small power DC generator set platform built by the laboratory,the experiment is carried out with the generator armature current as the feedback amount.The tracking effect is good,the output difference is small,and the effect of suppressing the circulation is basically consistent with the theoretical analysis.
