As a special form of transportation infrastructure construction,"The Cables is changed into Bridges"is an important or even the only way to travel in the region. It is very important to get through the key traffic nodes and improve the regional transportation network. At the same time,it also overflows the space of transportation infrastructure before and after the implementation of"The Cables is changed into Bridges".It is of great significance to promote the economic and social growth in remote areas by systematically and thoroughly analyzing the effects and studying the construction of transportation infrastructure in remote areas.Firstly, this paper elaborates the related theories and concepts of traffic infrastructure and spatial spillover effect, points out the mechanism of spatial spillover effect, namely the premise, and verifies the significance of the formation of spatial spillover effect of transport infrastructure in remote areas for regional economic and social growth. It is found that spatial spillover effect needs three basic elements:spatial dependence of regional economic development, network of transportation infrastructure and externality of transportation infrastructure.Spatial spillover effect is mainly affected by geographical location of transportation infrastructure, market scale and industrial structure of the region. In this way,the framework of text theory is completed, which lays a theoretical foundation for the follow-up empirical research.Secondly, based on the statistical data of the questionnaire on the implementation of”cable slipping to bridge"in a certain area, this paper divides 142 bridges in this area into five groups according to their geographical locations, and takes the influence scope of each bridge as the research unit.At the same time, the relevant indicators of economic and social growth in the questionnaire are selected, and the index of economic and social growth of each research unit is calculated by using the method of entropy weight-TOPSIS,and the index is taken as the explanatory variable of spatial spillover effect analysis. The sub-group carried out a survey of the economic and social growth in remote areas and a thorough understanding of the infrastructure situation in the case areas.Firstly, with the construction of"The Cables is changed into Bridges",the traffic infrastructure and economic and social growth of each research unit show an upward trend, but the spatial distribution is extremely unbalanced.Secondly, the traffic infrastructure of each group has a"central radiation"centered on one or more units, while the economic and social growth presents a"central-periphery"basic structure at the spatial level, and their distribution is roughly the same.Thirdly, the sub-group launched the autocorrelation analysis of the overall and local spatial economic and social growth. The results show that the correlation between the Northeast and Northwest groups is significant, which fully illustrates the importance of empirical analysis of spatial econometric model.Thirdly, the results of static spatial econometric model and dynamic spatial model are compared in the process of empirical research, and the spatial spillover effects of three dimension matrices such as geographical distance, market scale and industrial structure are compared and analyzed respectively. The results show that:(1)the variables representing transportation infrastructure have greater effect on the economic and social growth of each unit than other explanatory variables such as the number of production tools and the average number of vehicles entering and leaving each year, which indicates that transportation infrastructure has a direct impact on economic and social growth, while other explanatory variables need to be based on transportation infrastructure to achieve the corresponding efficiency. The promotion of economic and social growth has a certain lag;(2)Through the analysis of the spatial spillover effects of the matrices of Northeast Group,it is found that the spillover effects based on the first industrial structure matrix are the most obvious, followed by the others;through the analysis of the spatial spillover effects of the matrices of Northwest Group,it is found that the spillover effects based on geographical matrix can be formed. Most obvious. However, the spillover effect of the primary industry of the two groups is greater than that of the tertiary industry. The reason is that the primary industry is the main research unit of each group, and the primary industry requires high input of factors.(3)The spillover effect of highway network density is greater than that of bypass distance among the variables representing traffic infrastructure of each group. Finally, according to the above research conclusions, and put forward research prospects.
