With the improvement of China's comprehensive national strength,it is not negligible to give priority to the development of education.As the cradle of training talents,schools are particularly important.At the same time,the change of national policy and population structure and the shortage of land for urban development all have a certain impact on the development of campus.Spatial syntax theory is based on returning to the architecture itself and,used to study architectural space and analyze the relationship between space and human social activities.Space system is complex and abstract,so it is necessary to divide and simplify the space,describe the abstract space with mathematical and graphical relations,evaluate the quality of spatial structure from an objective point of view,and further optimize the spatial composition and spatial organization relationship.Campus space is all the more so,combining space syntax theory and its analysis method with campus design,the result of syntax analysis is used to guide the design of campus plan.Taking the actual project of Chengdu Jiaxiang Foreign Language School International Campus(Chenghua)as an example,from the perspective of urban planning,this paper makes an analysis of the current situation of the landscape,format and traffic within 2 kilometers of the research area at the beginning of the design,and then combines the spatial syntax theory with DepthmapX software to establish the axis model of the research area.By analyzing the connectivity value,integration value and choice value of the space within 2 kilometers of the research area,the permeability,accessibility and travelability of the space in the research area are further determined.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the base,the factors affecting the base are summarized,which provides a breakthrough point for the design of the campus plan.On this basis,the design of the campus plan is completed.In the design process,according to the requirements of Jiaxiang campus design task and index control,and combined with the factors summarized,the functional zoning layout and road traffic planning of the campus are preliminarily determined,which is the starting point of integration with the design concept.From the aspects of space form,traffic organization,building volume and so on,this paper puts forward strategies that conform to the campus design,and then deepens and completes the scheme design.And the scheme design is comprehensively analyzed from the aspects of function,traffic,space,landscape and sunshine.After completing the scheme,the convex space model and relational diagrams of the campus space and the building space of the design scheme are established by using the spatial syntax theory and its research methods.By analyzing the quantitative indexes such as connectivity value,integration value and average depth value calculated by the software,the space is evaluated according to the numerical results,and the advantages and disadvantages of the space are analyzed.On the basis of the evaluation results,the design is optimized from the aspects of function,traffic,landscape and so on.The visual field model is established for the optimized design scheme and the original design scheme,and then the schemes are compared through syntactic analysis.Finally,the corresponding conclusions are obtained through numerical comparison and analysis.
