With the connotation of public art used more and more widely, the public space has a diversified development, the characteristics of "publicity" and "artistry" are more prominent. As a kind of fashion ideas, the decorative art language has been accepted by more and more people, and increases year by year. However, the promotion of the decorative arts language has certain limitations, especially for the design application of public space on campus, there is the certain "bottleneck" of promotion. So the article explores the application of decorative arts language in the High school campus public space as the theme, in order to improve the guidance on practice.First of all, the article illustrates the decorative art and public art, explores the application based on specific examples. It also bring in the idea of combining the decorative arts with public space design, and advocate an integrated design of the campus culture. With the specific idea, the artistry combines with availability. I hope the combination can complement the public art discipline research, and provide new ideas for the development of public art in the campus.
