The purpose of this paper is to discuss the application of the theory of unit consumption analysis in nuclear power units.Based on the theory of unit consumption analysis,the energy consumption distribution and unit optimization of 1000MW nuclear power units are studied.Successful application of unit consumption analysis theory in thermal power industry has played an active role in the formulation and implementation of national energy saving and emission reduction policies and in dealing with international energy issues.With the expansion of energy crisis and the important role of nuclear power in the future energy pattern,energy saving will become the future planning and economy of nuclear power industry.One of the important considerations of economic research,and because nuclear power project belongs to the national major fixed assets investment project,energy conservation assessment is also one of the necessary work in the feasibility study phase of the project.Therefore,the application of the theory of unit consumption analysis in nuclear power units is of great significance to the study of energy-saving methods for nuclear power in the future.Firstly,based on the theory of unit consumption analysis,the irreversible loss calculation models of the primary and secondary thermal systems of nuclear power units are established respectively.Then,the original parameters under the unit design conditions are substituted into each model for the quantitative analysis and calculation of unit entropy production and loss.Then,the distribution of Uranium consumption of the whole unit is calculated according to the irreversible losses of each system and equipment.Finally,in order to achieve further energy saving,according to the distribution of entropy production and irreversible loss of the unit regeneration system,based on the second law of thermodynamics and the theory of unit consumption analysis,an optimized retrofit scheme of the unit regeneration system is proposed.According to the calculation and analysis results,the application of the theory of unit consumption analysis in the thermodynamic system of nuclear power unit is feasible,and it has strong applicability in solving the energy consumption distribution and energy saving optimization of the loop system and equipment of nuclear power unit.The results show that most of the irreversible losses of nuclear power units exist on the nuclear island,especially those caused by nuclear fission of th-e reactor.Among all kinds of losses caused by heat exchangers in the secondary loop system,the irreversible losses caused by temperature difference heat transfer are larger than those caused by throttling and heat dissipation,so reducing the temperature difference of heat transfer is replaced by replacing it.The energy-saving optimization of thermal equipment points out the direction;the adiabatic expansion of steam in steam turbine also causes some unavoidable loss of the unit;in addition,although a large amount of heat is discharged into the environment through the condenser in the secondary circuit,the resulting loss is low because of the low quality of this part of heat;The results of energy consumption distribution of equipment in each system of the unit show that the optimized regenerative heating system of "two high four low one deoxygenation'1 has obvious effect on improving the thermal economy of the unit.
