Application Research On Huian Cultural Element Of Restaurant Space Design

Huian is located in Southeast coastal region of China,and is a branch of Minnan Culture.During the long history,coastal geographic features give unique regional cultural characteristics,which has significant effect on the inheritance of Minnan Culture.Inheritance and development of local culture also become a soft power of local area.Although some local cultural characteristics of dining space exist in many cities,thoese designs are essentially the same,lacking of mining regional culture element and characteristics.This research is based on current design situation of dining space to go on field visits,investigate and reorganize materials by visiting Huian.Moreover,the author does the research on the sea,the building and woman of Huian,summarizes fundamental features and applies its elements to the design of 'No.7 Restaurant'.
