| The construction and operation of high-speed railway have greatly shortened the time distance between cities,strengthened the communication between cities,brought economic benefits and also affected all aspects of cities.However,the unbalanced development between cities has also made the impact of high-speed railway have the effect of double flour.Exploring the comprehensive differences in urbanization quality development between cities and the impact of high-speed railway on them is the key to exert the positive effect of high-speed railway and improve the quality of urbanization.Firstly,this paper studies and evaluates the new urbanization quality and high-speed rail development theory,and sorts out the existing relevant theoretical methods and literature achievements from urbanization and economic growth,the construction and calculation of urbanization quality evaluation system,and the impact of high-speed rail on urban economy,tourism,urbanization and other aspects.Taking the annual data of 16 indexes of 27 cities along the Zhengzhou-Xi ’an high-speed railway from 2005 to 2016 as the original data,this paper constructs a new comprehensive index system of urbanization quality,uses entropy method to determine the weight of each index,and calculates the comprehensive score of urbanization quality of the cities along the high-speed railway.According to the results of the comprehensive score,there are great differences in urbanization quality between the cities from 2005 to 2016.It can be divided into one or two levels,high,medium,low and low four quality levels,of which the development between the two levels is the most uneven,followed by medium quality and low quality,while the difference between low quality and low quality is the smallest.On this basis,further using the opening of Zhengzhou-Xi ’an high-speed railway in 2010 as the time demarcation point,the municipal cities along the high-speed railway are divided into the treatment group and the control group,the urbanization quality is taken as the observed variable,the time and regional interaction items of the high-speed railway opening are taken as the virtual variables,and fiscal expenditure,foreign direct investment,per capita Gross Domestic Product and non-agricultural output value are introduced as endogenous control variables to construct a high-speed railway effect estimation model suitable for Zhengzhou-Xi ’an high-speed railway,namely DID model.The estimation results of the model are obtained by STATA measurement software.The results show that high-speed rail has a negative impact on the urbanization quality of cities along the line.According to the dynamic effect analysis results,it is found that the negative effect of high-speed rail is not significant in the first year of high-speed rail construction,and there is aone-year lag period.With the increase of time,this impact will gradually emerge.Therefore,according to the estimation results of the impact of high-speed rail on the urbanization quality of cities along the line,this paper puts forward reasonable policy suggestions for further improving the coordinated development of high-speed rail and urbanization quality from the following aspects: reasonably and orderly guiding and transferring the population,giving full play to the advantages of its industry "characteristics" in combination with the region,and making full use of the high-speed rail policy opportunities to improve its own strength. |
