As the first minority autonomous region to operate high-speed rail,the construction of high-speed railway lines has spread rapidly in Guangxi.However,with the construction of high-speed rail,there is a huge amount of investment,and the funds are deposited and the pressure on local financial funds is increasing.Whether the high-speed rail can drive the economic growth of Guangxi,and to what extent has changed the economic pattern of Guangxi,the study of this series of questions will help to analyze the strength and direction of the high-speed rail to the various economic zones and counties in Guangxi,and has a positive impact on economic growth.In this paper,the dual difference model is combined with the spatial correlation analysis.The economic data of county-level level from 2010 to 2017 is used to examine the impact of the operating of high-speed rail on the economic growth of various districts and counties in Guangxi.The regression analysis of the district counties found that the opening of the high-speed rail promoted the growth of the total economic volume of the districts and counties,and it also has a significant impact on its per capita output.At the same time,the impact of high-speed rail on the economic growth of the city is greater than the impact on the economic growth of the county.The analysis of the economic regions found that the high-speed rail significantly promoted the economic areas of Guixi and the Beibu Gulf,it had a small positive effect on the Xijiang Economic Zone and was not significant.In terms of industries,the opening of high-speed rail has promoted the development of the secondary industry and has no significant impact on the other two industries.The spatial correlation analysis also shows that there are two spatially associated agglomeration areas in the Guangxi county economy,one is the low-value cluster area located in the northwest and the other is the high-value cluster area located in the south.overall,the opening of the highspeed rail has not significantly changed the economic pattern of Guangxi.Although it has reduced the spatial correlation of the economy of various districts and counties in Guangxi to some extent,it is a positive change and is reflected in the low-level agglomeration area.Reduction.Finally,the robustness test shows that with the extension of the opening time and the intensity,the role of the high-speed rail to the economic zone of the station districts and counties is also increasing.
